Denver Broncos win again

The Denver Broncos continued their unbeaten start to the new NFL season with a 34-23 win at San Diego Chargers.

As a result, they moved to 6-0 for the campaign.

Eddie Royal became only the 11th player in NFL history - the first for the Broncos - to return a kick-off and a punt for touchdowns in the same game as his team snapped a three-game losing streak in San Diego and opened a three-and-a-half-game lead in the AFC West.

Second-year pro Royal returned a kick-off 93 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and then ran a punt back 71 yards for a score in the second.

Kyle Orton completed 20 of 29 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns, tight end Tony Scheffler on the receiving end late in the third quarter to put his side 24-23 ahead.
