Atlantic Division leaders the New Jersey Devils saw off the Florida Panthers 2-0 at the Prudential Center.

The Devils' Martin Brodeur came out on top, however, as his 22 saves helped the home side to victory against opposite number Tomas Vokoun.

Travis Zajac and Dean McAmmond were the goalscorers.

Tonight's two other games both went to overtime.

St Louis Blues edged the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 in Canada with Andy McDonald scoring the winner while the Vancouver Canucks came away from Edmonton with a 3-2 win over the Oilers, Daniel Sedin producing the decider.
