Ovechkin treble sets up thrilling win
Alex Ovechkin's hat-trick helped Washington Capitals come from 4-1 down to beat Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 in the NHL.
Mike Knuble's overtime goal - set up by Ovechkin - settled the match in favour of the South-East Division leaders, but not before they had been left staring down the barrel by two goals each from Sidney Crosby and Jordan Staal. Eric Fehr scored Washington's other goal.
Marco Sturm's brace and Adam McQuaid's first NHL goal earned Boston Bruins a 3-0 win at Montreal Canadiens as Tuukka Rask saved 36 shots for his third shut-out of the season.
